Absolutely brilliant – one of the best books I’ve ever read on teams so far! An absolute must read for everyone.
Absolutely brilliant and a great follow on from Start with Why. Could hardly put this book down. A must read for any leader
A must read its such a good book that gets you to see different perspectives of change. Change is constantly around us and this book helps remind us that its good not bad.
Great book. It’s shown me how I sometimes diminish people without meaning to and has started me on the path do really working on being a multiplier and avoiding being an the accidental diminisher. I too believe that following the multiplier route will unlock huge value within the organisation, any organization.
I read this more than a decade ago so this review is rather overdue.
It’s one of the first books I read from Brian Tracy due to attending a workshop he ran.
Eat That Frog is a timeless formula to get stuff done and is still one of my go to books to overcome procrastination.
Brilliant book. It clearly explains with example and scenario after example and scenario of how much further you absolutely will get with a growth mindset as opposed to the limit you will arrive at with a fixed mindset.
It’s such a simple concept that is possible for anyone should they so choose to learn and grow.
I’d say it’s a must read for anyone including yourself that you want to be more successful
Absolutely brilliant book. A must read for sales, customer service and marketing, in fact anyone who is customer facing and wishes to grow referrals. Looking forward to applying some of these techniques ASAP. Also wondering whether there’s a coach for this around here!
“Hook Points are the new lingua franca we all need to be made aware of. For any company to survive in today’s world of distractions Hook Points are how we stand out and organisations need to use the tools Brendan provides to stand out. I highly recommend this to folks inside Marketing and outside Marketing, we need to adjust our thinking of what we may have been taught and learnt in the past on how to stand out and be seen.”
I’ve been a fan of Inbound marketing and HubSpot for many years but I’ve always looked at things from the marketing perspective. Reading this from a Sales perspective and seeing Inbound Marketing from a sales perspective is on the one hand duh dude how could you not have seen it, it’s obvious and on the other hand completely eye opening. Gonna have to make this a compulsory read for sales and marketing teams from now on for sure!
This puts a whole new spin on what grit, perseverance, and never giving up mean.
I think one should prepare the right equipment for some of the races he did.
On the other hand, another perspective is that’s not important and he can do it anyway.
Disclosure: I was offered a free copy of this book by the author in return for an honest review. I bought the book anyway and didn’t take the freebie, read it, and that has made all the difference.
Understanding, thats what this book brings. A tipping point to the patterns that were there but now can clearly be understood. If only time could be wound back and I had embraced far more a Uscolian way or even the Doman way that would have been a better path.
We can only ask that the author Gabriel Lanyi writes more and shares more of the Uscolian way.
Whilst reading this book the style and cadence of the writing made me recall the author Eliyahu Goldratt who has written many books around process improvement, literally all of which I have read as I find it a fascinating and absorbing as Gabriel Lanyi. I can imagine an incredible conversation between the two, now that would be another story to write about.
Anyway, Uscolia is a fascinating and absorbing read which I am sure will grab you and you’ll likely find it very hard not to be transported to Uscolia in your mind.

I’ve got a stiff neck since the infinite game causes me to keep nodding my head in agreement as I repeatedly get aha moments.
Buy this book and sit yourself down in a very comfortable chair and look forward to joining the Infinite game and the infinite possibilities that I am absolutely sure it will present you with.
Finite or infinite the choice is yours what will you choose?
I enjoyed this thoughtful and well researched book. It helps clarify and add weight to the power of introverts as well as highlights the obstacles they are faced with in a society that does not always support them and in many cases excludes them.
Whether you identify as an introvert or an extrovert it’s a powerful read
Absolutely brilliant. Now I can better understand the problems / issues but more importantly a way to get out of the box more easily and to stay out.
